LAGRANGE SENIOR SOCIALS
Sponsored by The Pines at Poughkeepsie Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation and LaGrange Parks & Recreation, we invite seniors ages 55+ to join friends and neighbors to socialize, enjoy delicious food, great music, raffles, and giveaways at our LaGrange Senior Socials! Hosted at Simply Gourmet, Route 55. Registration is required as spaces are limited. Watch for pricing,registration dates, and more details!

LAGRANGE SENIOR BUS TRIPS
Bus leaves from and returns to LaGrange Town Hall, 120 Stringham Rd.
We are working on a wonderful year of travel adventures ahead! Stay tuned for dates and details.

All registrations will take place in person in the Recreation Office in LaGrange Town Hall, 120 Stringham Rd. Be sure to bring your proof of residency in the form of a property tax OR utility bill AND your medications list.

DUTCHESS COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING’s ANNUAL SENIOR PICNIC
Watch for invite from DC Office For the Aging. Reservations required.

SENIOR DROP IN (55+)
Enjoy crafts, brain games, live music, exercise class, refreshments, special events, guest speakers and much more! Watch for upcoming day trips!

TRI-TOWN SENIOR FRIENDSHIP CENTER
The Dutchess County Office for the Aging invites seniors in the LaGrange, Pleasant Valley and Poughkeepsie area to the Tri-Town Senior Friendship Center for activities, companionship and more!

When: Mondays-Thursdays, 10-2pm

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION
Friends of Seniors offers LaGrange and Pleasant Valley residents ages 60 and over free door-to-door transportation on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Pickup begins at 9am and drop off is 12:30-1:30pm depending on the day’s scheduled location and senior needs. Seniors are required to be vaccinated and boostered.

One Tuesday or Thursday, seniors are driven to Route 44 Plaza where passengers can go to wherever needed in the plaza (StopNShop, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, bank, etc). After they are finished in the plaza, the van takes them to Adam’s Fairacre Farms.

The following Tuesday or Thursday, the van goes to the Malls: Poughkeepsie Galleria and/or South Hills Mall, wherever passengers want to go.

Sometimes passengers will need to stop at a bank or pharmacy closer to their homes and the van will take them there too!

Volunteer drivers are desperately needed to assist with this wonderful program! Volunteer drivers are fully insured by the towns of LaGrange and Pleasant Valley. Driver commitment is a minimum of once a month and must have a valid driver’s license and be fully vaccinated.
