Mark your calendars to join us for these fun family events!

Join the fun at our Beach Bash & Movies On the Beach series starting in July at Freedom Lake! Come early for some beach fun including a pre-movie party on the beach with a DJ, giveaways, bonfire (if permits), games and more starting at 6:30pm! Then stay for showtime under the stars beginning at 8:30-45pm (actual start time depends on darkness). This is a non-swimming event. Bring your own chairs and/or blankets.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for these events.

Registration opens online at www.lagrangeparksandrec to LaGrange residents two weeks prior at 9am and to eligible non-residents* a week later at 9am. Registration closes at midnight the night prior to the event.  Proof of residency for residents and eligible non-residents* through a property tax or utility bill is required to register if you have not already uploaded to your account for the 2024 season.  ***A driver’s license is not proof of residency.***

In addition to household members, registrants are allowed up to 6 guests per household (no residency required for guests but we do ask that you note the age of children under 12 after their name).  Please keep in mind new accounts, new household members, and proof of residency go through an approval process and will not happen immediately. If you have any issues registering or uploading proof of residency for members in your household, please contact the Recreation Office at 845-452-1972 during regular office hours (M-F, 8:30-4pm) prior to the day of the event, we are happy to help you!

We kindly ask to please only register for those you know can make it to the event and reach out to us should your plans fall through so we can allow all families who’d like to attend this free event.

No pets, no glass, no smoking or vaping anywhere in the park.

*Includes residents from the following border TOWNS:  Beekman, East Fishkill, Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie, Union Vale, and Wappinger.  Proof of residency with a property tax bill or utility bill connected to your property is required and can be uploaded to your account if you have not already done so for the 2024 season. This is required every season.

Registration opens to LaGrange residents on Saturday, 8/3 at 9am.
