2026 FREE MOVIES ON THE BEACH

Mark your calendars to join us for these fun family events!

Register to join us for our FREE Beach Bash & Movies On the Beach series at Freedom Lake!  Come early for some beach fun including a pre-movie party on the beach with a DJ, giveaways, games and more starting at 6:30pm! Then stay for showtime to enjoy our feature under the stars beginning at 8:30-45pm (actual start time depends on darkness). This is a NON-SWIMMING EVENT. Please note once movie begins, attendees are expected to sit and watch the movie as to not disrupt other movie watchers.
 

Friday, July 17th – Despicable Me 4

Registration opens to LaGrange residents on Saturday, 7/4 at 9am.

Registration opens to eligible non-residents* on Saturday, 11 at 9am.

Friday, July 31st – Dog Man

Registration opens to LaGrange residents on Saturday, 7/18 at 9am.

Registration opens to eligible non-residents* on Saturday, 7/25 at 9am.

Friday, August 21st – Zootopia 2

Registration opens to LaGrange residents on Saturday, 8/8 at 9am.

Registration opens to eligible non-residents* on Saturday, 8/15 at 9am.

Bring your own chairs and/or blankets. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for this event at www.lagrangeparksandrec.com to LaGrange residents 2 weeks prior to the event and to eligible non-residents* one week prior to the event.
 
Proof of residency for residents and eligible non-residents* through a property tax or utility bill is required to register if you have not already uploaded to your account for the 2026 season. ***A driver’s license is not proof of residency.***
 
In addition to household members, registrants are allowed up to 6 guests per household (no residency required for guests but we do ask that you note the age of children under 12 following their name). ***Please keep in mind new accounts, new members, and proof of residency go through an approval process and require 48 hours for review.*** If you have any issues registering or uploading proof of residency for members in your household, please contact the Recreation Office at 845-452-1972 during regular office hours (M-F, 8:30-4pm) prior to the day of the event, we are happy to help you!
