We're partnering with LaGrange Conservation Advisory Council for this special full moon hike in Freedom Park tomorrow, 9/17, at 7:30pm! The September moon will be the Harvest Moon and bonus... it's a supermoon!

We're taking a different path from our spring hike to better view the moon! We'll hike around the lake while admiring the moon's reflection then head toward the clearing near the small pavilion. If the clouds cooperate, it should be ideal viewing!
This hike is for ages 10+. Please bring a flashlight or headlamp, and dress according to weather conditions.

NO PETS AND NO SMOKING/VAPING IN THE PARK.
Registration is required at www.lagrangeparksandrec.com and is currently open to LaGrange residents and eligible non-residents (includes residents from the following border TOWNS: Beekman, East Fishkill, Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie, Union Vale, and Wappinger.)

The annual LAGRANGE WAPPINGER CREEK GREENWAY TRAIL

The annual LAGRANGE WAPPINGER CREEK GREENWAY TRAIL WALK hosted by the Conservation Advisory Council, part of the Hudson River Valley Ramble happening throughout the Hudson Valley during the month of September is THIS Saturday, 9/7!

Enjoy a walk in a serene woodland setting on a beautiful nature trail that winds for over a mile along the banks of the Wappinger Creek under a canopy of sycamore, oak, maple, hickory, cottonwood, and other trees. Park at the Sleight Plass Rd trail entrance and meet your guides by the sign "Wappinger Creek Greenway Trail".

Advance registration is requested by calling 845-554-9166 and/or emailing m2htoo@yahoo.com but walk ups to the trailhead are ok too. Happy Trails!
