Hello Sleuths. November is a tight month in the Recreation Department and we wanted to keep you going on your nature play and discovery time. We are working on ideas for our next meet-up, but in the meantime we wanted to keep you adventurous. Fall is a great time for collecting. Go out in your yard or to the park and gather some acorns, twigs, fall leaves, stones, pine needles, pine cones, etc. Bring them inside and make a birdseed sensory bin. Use a small dishpan or tote and put birdseed in bottom. Add your found items and have some fun exploring them a little closer. Grab magnifying glasses and really look close. When finished you can offer the birds a Thanksgiving feast by putting the seed outside for them to enjoy.

Be part of the adventure as you explore nature through fun activities and outings for the whole family to enjoy! Club is open to LaGrange residents and  residents of the following towns: Beekman,  East Fishkill, Pleasant Valley, Poughkeepsie,  Union Vale and Wappinger. Registrations will be taken at the Recreation Office. Please RSVP to or call the Recreation Office at 452-1972.
